BODY MIND LAB with Naoko Maeshiba explores your capacity for physical and creative freedom within your body, mind and surroundings.

The Lab returns this summer –– this is a kinesthetic and movement training that investigates the body as a dynamic, transformative entity. For participants the Lab is both somatic and performative, tapping into the primal instincts and increasing the potency of moment-to-moment actions for actors and performance artists.

This Lab will focus on three main areas of the body 1) activating your central axis, 2) your eyes and sight, and 3) the mouth, jaw, and tongue.  These three focuses are chosen to particularly meet the new challenges of working virtually and to develop a practice to gain understanding and freedom in these areas.
